Our aim is to provide a 'safety net' for individuals who cannot afford a lawyer or get the help they need from elsewhere.
We provide a referral service for low-income and disadvantaged South Australians experiencing civil law issues. Our Pro Bono Referral Service also assists charitable and community groups. Our Refugee and Asylum Seeker Project provides legal advice and representation.
We also operate a Federal Court Self-Representation Service which provides direct legal advice and assistance to people representing themselves in Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court.
JusticeNet SA is managed by a voluntary Management Committee that is elected annually by members.
JusticeNet SA has the strong support of the legal profession in South Australia. Our members include local and interstate law firms, law schools, barristers chambers, corporate legal units and individual members.
